Why does apple remain so popular?

Welcome back to my next blog post, I hope you enjoyed the last one in this blog post I will be talking about Apple, how they market their products and continue to be a popular choice for consumers continuously.

I am an avid Apple product user from mobile phone to laptop and headphones, and have been for many years, I also do not think I will change over to another brand however nobody can predict the future of technology so we will have to see. Apple has a strong customer loyalty in the sense that once someone buys an iPhone it is more than likely that they will continue to buy iPhones as Apple updates them every year. This is evident when each year the new iPhone sales soar tremendously and are all in high demand. This is because everyone always wants the latest version of what they have so they will continue to buy their products yearly or when they break. This is also seen when people buy the phones on contract so when a new phone comes out, they are able to receive it from little to no money extra as a new upgrade.

Apple marketing their products mostly happens on social media and advertisements. For example, you can see their adverts on YouTube, billboards and around shopping centers where the Apple store is even located. The adverts on social media showcase the new models of iPhones, laptops, smartwatches, and headphones. The adverts always seem to involve flashy information about the upgraded camera and colours which is Apples selling point and what people are mostly interested in when they purchase the upgraded item of what they already have. The adverts are also short and snappy to intrigue consumers to buy their products. Apple markets their products as the new fresh technology on the market and this continues to be working for them.

Additionally for many years Apple has always had the largest market share of the mobile phone industry which in turn shows their popularity amongst consumers. This again is stemmed from all their customers' loyalty to the brand and their products. Even on a day-to-day basis I only seem to see people using iPhones around me compared to Samsung or Android which to me has become normal. Whereas if someone has an Android or Samsung it is more unusual for me to see in my day-to-day life.
